As Sick as Sick Can Get

Ok, so I've been a bit distracted by work these days and haven't paid attention to the news as much as I'd have liked in the past couple of weeks. So I've just now read about the Phelps family. Most of you probably already know about the latest activities of this group of hate mongers. Led by a freaked out psycho right winger who has been a passionate hater of gays for ages, Freddie is now saying that (hang in there with me here) US soldiers should be killed because they are fighting for an army of a nation that accepts homosexuality. Are you still with me? Having read that CNN article, and having just written this, I'm not sure I'm with me. Are we sure somebody's not just playing a really sick early April Fool's joke?

This guy is serious? He has gone to a couple of soldiers' funerals with his family (the guy in not just fruit loops in the head, he's been fruitful and multiplied -- one way to ensure you've got supporters for your point of view, no matter how wacked). The crew carries signs at the funerals that read "Thank God for IED's" and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers." Non brain-damaged folks have stepped in and offered their services as buffers between the psycho brigade and grieving families. But really now folks, is this a sign of bush's america or what? Republicans have spent years now playing to and encouraging the spread of the psycho right.

And Freddie seems to be fitting right in.

Que Idiot Phelps! They claim that they're are doing this out of revenge because of an attempted bombing by two Kansas College Students who placed a homemade pipebomb (IED) they made at the house of Shirley Phelps-Roper, the WBC's Legal Representative. The college students were targeting Fred himself but got the wrong house. Still, picketing the funerals of soldiers killed by Improvised Exploding Roadside Bombs does not justify any kind of revenge. And the idea that they say Bush is a "Fag-Enabler" makes absolutely no sense in the least when you consider that Bush's majority of advisors are anti-gay bigots themselves. But Fred Phelps is far beyond the religious right, he's totally apocalyptic. Oh and did I mention that he's a lunatic that should be locked up? And that his family needs a hugh amount of deprogramming?

Outside of my circle in Kentucky there is a fellow named Bart McQuary who once ran a website called God Hates Harrodsburg, KY and is a big fan and demented follower of Fred Phelps. And he would say alot of the same shit that ceux WBC jerk-offs say when it either comes to a natural disaster, pro-gay legistlation, or the death of someone who had HIV/AIDS or soldiers that died by stepping on an IED.

But you know what, the WBC is small in numbers and is not really a threat to anyone. They are just a klan of Blind fools who were forced to memorized the bible and take it out of context in their pickets to cover up for the fact that what they really do is Satanic. Now I'm not implying that they brought a goat down from the mountain, cut it's head off, drank it's blood and hung the skull over a fireplace as a sunday morning activity (As they may have done but are not telling us), but what they are well known for is Satanic enough and to hide behind a holy book that was originally supposed to offer Love and Protection from evil is blasphemous in Christianity. I'm not Christian anymore but I'm not anti-Christian either; however, seeing how the religious right themselves are the real culprits of Christianity's corruption, I am ashamed to have been one now. How can someone who claims to be a Christian say that Homosexuals are evil? It's obvious that they were taught "Judge Not, And Ye Shall Not be Judged" but when it came to Homosexual rights, they tossed "Judge Not" out of the window.

Fred's group says the religious right itself is going to hell because only his family and followers are "God's Elect" (I DEMAND A RECOUNT!) And he will continue to say that just because I like to perform oral sex on my boyfriend whom I love, that God hates me.

For a better understanding of Fred Phelps' dysfunctional family, read "Addicted To Hate". The exposé of Fred Phelps before the infamous 'God Hates Fags' campaign began.

Oh and Fred, Ich sehe Sie in der Hölle!
