Site o' the day
You will be depriving yourself of some great stuff if you don't visit buffalobeast.com and read through their list of the "50 most loathsome people in America." I am not going to give away "most loathsome," but I can tell you that a certain cigar-chomping, Parkinson's-mocking radio host appears prominently on the list, described by the authors as a "repulsive s--- fountain." Not to worry, the list is bipartisan and unsparing in its skewering...it's not to be missed.

Well, most of these are pretty funny and I agree about most of them but I have to disagree with #27. That one is just sick and wrong, at least what is said about her. Now, I totally agree about the group she is forced to hang out with. They, or at least he, is sick and wrong all together. Hey, why isn't he on this list? Even if he has been on previous lists, he should be a permenant fixture on this list.
How's that for suspense.
As a woman, I'm taking it as a bit of an insult that the women highest up on the list are not, shall we say, famous for their minds.
Surely there is room on this list for more women of some mental abilities, a Margaret Thatcher, for instance, would seem a natural. Yet is overlooked.
i'm wondering what happened to that horrid real-estate hag, Leona Helmsley, the woman who uttered, famously, "only the little people pay taxes?" her loathsome star must be in eclipse.
Well, this was the most annoying list of 2006 so that would explain why Thatcher and Helmsley were not on the list. Now, if there were a list of the 50 most annoying women all time then these two would be on it. I would also have to add Imelda Marcos and Michele Duvalier (sp?) to that list as well.
That's four down, only forty-six more to go!
