Apparently just enough. The army will start producing 230,000 sets of side armor plates and send them to the troops in Iraq & Afghanistan through the year. The Marines will have 9,000 sets delivered to Iraq, and 30,000 there by April. Maybe they'll get with the program on armor for the vehicles one of these days as well. And in the meantime?
